About Us



Axet is a modern beer hall with a lively cocktail bar that grew out of the remains of the old Juvelkvarnen. We are Eriksberg’s new meeting place and all of Hisingen’s neighborhood pub. Here you can eat well-cooked home cooking, drink fresh, unpasteurized Pilsner Urquell and enjoy both innovative and classic cocktails.

Inspired by our big sisters on the mainland, Golden Prague and Schnitzelplatz, we have taken Pilsner Urquell’s Tankovna beer to Hisingen as the first place in world history. Beyond that, we create our own path. We are the funky little sister with the fantastic drinks, the modern bar, the fun playlist and the classic home cooking.

With us you can have dinner all week, drink Champagne and eat oysters, party all night and have brunch on Saturday morning. Here you get the same mood and atmosphere as at our sisters, but now you no longer have to cross the river!

Food Philosophy

We want you to have dinner with us, and in our opinion, there is no better dinner food than Swedish husman. That’s why we cook it. Sometimes completely according to tradition but often with a modern touch. No matter what, we always cook everything from scratch.

We change and update the menu according to the season, but there is always a dish of the week. A household classic at an extra favorable price. Every day we cook a limited number of portions so it’s first come, first served!

We are the neighborhood pub but the genuine, well-prepared food. We highlight the Swedish flavors and let them speak for themselves. Sometimes it’s not more difficult than that.
